Must Watch: Miss Universe Philippines Shamcey Supsup’s Evening Gown Presentation Rehearsal Video

The Lady who wants to design for The Donald

Donald Trump is an icon of modern day success — overcoming challenges and eventually building a business empire that is the envy all across the world.

With an illustrious career matched by an even more colorful personal life, Donald Trump has been in the public eye for decades.

But while this high profile man was already establishing his name in real estate, a little girl was already taking baby steps towards her own success.

Across the Pacific Ocean, Shamcey Supsup was her mother’s treasure. Bright and beautiful, she showed early signs of special talent and beauty. To her mother’s knowing eye, Shamcey was one day set to make her mark. She had big dreams for her daughter.

Shamcey excelled in school even early on, and heavily leaned towards the arts. Shamcey eventually graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines-Diliman with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Architecture. She also topped the June 2010 Architecture Licensure Examination in July 2010.

Then there came an unexpected turn. Fresh from a victorious run at the Academe, Shamcey set her sights on an unlikely turf — beauty pageants. She was young enough to take that leap. It was her now or never moment, her mother advised her. She had beauty, brains, and the unwavering support of her loved ones. She aimed high and hit her target. On her first try, Shamcey bagged the title Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2011. Now she is in Brazil to duplicate this triumph for the Philippines.

Two diverse paths to success. One already set, the other one just beginning. The stage is set as the man who is an epitome of accomplishment meets the lady who is the embodiment of a young achiever with honest and selfless ambition.

This September at the 2011 Miss Universe Pageant in Brazil, Donald Trump and Shamcey Supsup are set to cross paths, paving the way for the magnificent present ushering in a glorious future.
